This Privacy Policy describes how Flock Manager ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application. We built this app with privacy in mind—your flock data belongs to you.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Let's start with what we don't do:

• No account required — You never need to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in
• No cloud storage — Your data is stored locally on your device, not on our servers
• No analytics tracking — We don't use analytics services to track how you use the app
• No advertising — We don't show ads or share data with advertisers
• No location tracking — We don't access or store your location
• No contact access — We don't access your contacts, calendar, or other personal data
• No data selling — We have no data to sell, and wouldn't sell it if we did

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The app stores the following information locally on your device only:

Flock & Bird Data

• Flock names and descriptions
• Bird names, breeds, dates, and notes
• Egg production logs
• Expense and income records
• Medication and health notes

Photos

• Bird photos you add are stored in the app's private storage area on your device
• Photos are never uploaded to any server
• Photos are included if you use the device's backup features (iCloud, Google Backup)

App Preferences

• Your selected theme and display preferences
• Notification settings
• Last-used flock selection
• Trial/purchase status

How to Delete Your Data

Since all data is stored locally:

• Delete specific records using the app's edit/delete functions
• Delete all app data by uninstalling the app, or clearing app data in your device settings
• Export first if you want a copy—use the CSV export feature in Settings before deleting

Third-Party Services

The app uses minimal third-party services:

In-App Purchases

We use Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android) to process the one-time purchase to unlock the full app.

• What they receive: Standard purchase transaction data as required by the platform
• What we receive: A simple "purchased" or "not purchased" status—no payment details
• Their privacy policies: Apple | Google

Data Backup and Sync

Device Backups

Your app data may be included in device backups (iCloud, Google Backup) according to your device settings. These backups are governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policies.

No Cloud Sync

The app does not offer cloud synchronization. Data exists only on the device where you enter it. If you switch devices, use the CSV export feature to transfer your records.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since we don't collect personal information from anyone, this applies to users of all ages.

Data Security

Your data is protected by:

• Your device's built-in security (passcode, biometrics)
• The app's private storage area, inaccessible to other apps
• Standard iOS/Android sandboxing protections

Since data isn't transmitted over the internet, there's no risk of interception during transfer.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will:

• Post the updated policy at this URL
• Update the "Last updated" date at the top
• Note material changes in the app's "What's New" for the relevant update

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data. Since we don't collect personal data, most data-rights regulations don't apply. However:

• Access: All your data is visible in the app—it's yours
• Portability: Use CSV export to get a copy of all your data
• Deletion: Uninstall the app or clear app data to delete everything
• Correction: Edit any record directly in the app
